Roads Impacted by Construction

May 13-June 15 the following roads will be impacted by the construction of the water main replacement. Oak St, North Cross St, Jefferson St, E Center St. You may encounter lane restrictions, road closures and/or detours. Please avoid this area if possible or allow extra time when traveling in this area. Thank you.

Solicitor Permit Reinstated

Solicitor Permits Reinstated: Joshua and Thomas with Spartan X Solar have Solicitor Permits reinstated through May 29th. There are three active permits including Colin with Charter Spectrum. All Solicitors must have the Village issued badge when they knock. If you encounter an unpermitted solicitor, please call the Police Dept at 618-372-4207 and report their location.

Road Closure at Brown St. and South Cross

Please be advised that there will be an upcoming road closure in order to complete work associated with the ongoing water main project. The intersection of Brown Street and South Cross Street will be closed from April 20th through April 24th. Detour signs will be in place.
